Dr. Idris Dahod earned a medical degree (MD) from JN Medical College, Belgaum, India, completed his Pediatric residency at Hahnemann University, Philadelphia, PA, and Fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Brown University, Providence, RI. After achieving his MD, he began his career at Fallon Clinic in Worcester, MA, and then started a Private practice at Central Mass Pediatric GI and Nutrition in Worcester, Massachusetts. During his 14-year tenure as an attending physician, Dr. Idris Dahod served as president of the pediatric gastrointestinal practice.
Dr. Idris Dahod subsequently worked as a physician liaison and sales leader at eClinicalWorks, followed by a pediatrician role at Quality Kids Kare. He also served as a lead physician at the Equity Vaccine Clinic.
Since 2019, Dr. Idris Dahod has served as a pediatrician with St. Anne’s Free Medical Program in Shrewsbury. In this role, he provides no-cost treatment to both child and adult patients, including physical exams, state-mandated vaccines, and lab work. He also helps patients navigate health care coverage plans, among other services.
In 2024, Dr. Dahod expanded his professional activities by joining Framingham’s Latino Health Insurance Program as a physician and vaccine coordinator. He provides pediatric primary care in a culturally sensitive environment, with a focus on meeting the needs of immigrant and underserved communities.
